Cheshire Figure Skating Club will present “Through the Decades!”. This event is the culmination of everything the skaters have been learning this season. It highlights performances by groups, solos and duets of all ages and skill.

Learn To SKATE
Fall Session Begins September 8th!!
Keene Ice Arena is confident that you will find our Learn to Skate Basic Skills program to be a fun and encouraging skating experience. Each skater will develop their own individual coordination and balance skills as well as learn the correct techniques of skating during the course of the session.
Participation in our skating class cannot be guaranteed without pre-registration! Please call customer service to check availability! Parents do not participate on the ice with their children.
NEW this year-LEARN TO SKATE USA All skaters need to additionally register for Learn to Skate USA www.learntoskateusa.com An additional fee of $13.25. This membership is Valid July 1st-June 30th and is required for all skaters in all skills levels and disciplines. We will be happy to assist in this process.
Program Fees: $125 for an 8 week session. Price includes Rental Skates each week. Please equip your skater with a helmet, long pants and gloves each week for class.
Learn to Play- Hockey
The Learn to Play Hockey Program will follow the USA Hockey’s ADM Model and offers the opportunity for boys and girls ages 5-9 to learn and develop all aspects of the game. Skaters work on essential skills over the course of a 12 week session. Players are introduced to team dynamics and competition in a fun atmosphere. All participates receive a team jersey at the beginning of week 3. FULL equipment is required
When: September 21st- December 14th 2016
Skaters will have skills practices on Wednesday evenings 5-6pm and play games on Sunday mornings at 8:30-9:30am. Game play begins week 3.
Requirements: Players must have a strong skating ability. they should know how to skate forward, stop and skate backwards comfortably. If players are coming out of Learn to Skate USA, it would be equivalent of passing Basic 2. Skaters need to provide their own hockey equipment.
Cost:$349 for 12 week session
Equipment list: Helmet, Chest Pads, Neck Guard, Elbow pads, Hockey Gloves, Mouth Guard, Stick, Hockey Pants, Shin Guards, Hockey Socks, Skates.
Summer Skills Nights
Weekly skills provides your player with off season training. Sessions will be an hour in length, with players rotating thru stations. Skills are the focus; power skating is also covered.
Summer Class Dates: Tuesday 5:40-6:40
June- 28th
July- 5th, 19th, 26th
August- 2nd, 9th, 16th,23rd
Tuition- $159 For all 8 weeks
If space permits walk on for $25/wk
-Mites- Bantam Players are eligible
-Full hockey Gear is required- previous hockey experience preferred
-positive and motivating atmosphere for your developing player
-Instruction provided by certified USA Hockey Coaches. No parent Participation allowed.
-Skills only- No Game play
-Goalies are welcome

Spring 3 on 3 Hockey
Spring youth 3 on 3 hockey league now forming. Spring Leagues are a great way to keep the fun in playing hockey. In this recreational league, players will enjoy the game in a fun competitive atmosphere while improving their skills. This will be a draft league with new teams every week. Games will be played on Sunday’s with teams and times posted every Friday.
