A great opportunity for your skater to showcase skills-NO matter the skating level!! Our Basic Skills Competition has something for every aspiring skater.
When: Saturday February 8th, 2025 Competition begins at 2:45pm
Eligibility: Snowplow Sam 1-EXCEL Preliminary Plus program. ALL skaters must be a current member of US Figure Skating or Learn to Skate USA.
Offerings: Skaters are welcome to compete in either Elements and/or Program! Medals will be awarded for 1st-3rd place.
- Elements: Skaters perform skills to a panel of judges. Skills reflect the highest level that have been mastered. Students are not on the ice alone.
- Program: Students compete at the highest level they have successfully passed, performing to a song with the required elements for the set level. Students are on the ice alone ranging from 1 minute- 1:30sec. (Additional practice is required with a coach)
